Sylvie and I were coming back from the hike where she tangled with a porcupine when all of the sudden we came upon an eagle tearing apart a dead porcupine on the road. I was about 10 feet away from him and of course never considered taking a picture until he flew up in the tree when a car came up behind us. This was taken after he flew from the tree.
